Hifi (formerly Mainframe) launched its fixed-rate lending protocol in February 2021: it lets users create fungible debt that’s repaid at a fixed rate on a fixed date (Business Wire). The protocol is governed by the Hifi DAO, where HIFI holders vote on proposals (Tally).

- Binance delisted HIFI — trading on all HIFI pairs stopped on 17 September 2025. WEEX delisted it around the same time.
- Low trading volume. In October 2026, CoinMarketCap shows a 24-hour volume of a few hundred dollars.
- The DAO’s baseline plan. HIP 16 set out how Hifi DAO allocates its resources, including USDC and HIFI for liquidity on the HIFI/USDC pair on Uniswap, funding for essential services through 27 March 2026, and procedures for a potential future wind-down.

What About HIFI Staking?
HIFI is a governance token: holders can lock it in the protocol’s governance system to vote and receive protocol benefits.
